I installed one of these on the wall of my covered screened in patio. The fixture that it replaced was awful, which is why I went looking. I also had to have a fixture with a built in switch since the junction box it was to be mounted to was unswitched.Pros: - stylish - solidly built - excellent switch action - dimmable - LED - nifty screw down connector junction is supplied, eliminating the need for wire nuts, so I didn't even have to kill the power to install itCons: - I like the color of the LEDs but my wife thinks they are too white - no screws were supplied for attaching the base plate to the junction box - if you sit where you can see the LEDs (which are unfiltered) they are a bit blinding - the LEDs used would be non-trivial to replace, so it better last. - neutral wire required additional stripping to make the connection.All in all I'm very pleased with the fixture. It's projection from the wall isn't enough to bang into it and I love the switch action. Being dimmable is a bonus that also works well. It is a continuous dim until is cuts out. This fixture certainly solved the many problems with my old one, which was about head height making it a constant annoyance to duck past. It also had a problematic pull chain switch as opposed to the solid rotary switch used by this one. The install was perhaps the easiest I've ever had for a wired light fixture. In my estimation, the pros far outweigh the cons, making it worth a 5-star rating.
