I got this on a 'used - like new" listing for a good deal. For some reason mine does not change colors like the other videos show. All of the lights still function and it is extremely bright but was more effective for the dark space I had. It is very heavy and I mounted it into a very thin ceiling but somehow it's held up fine. I rewired mine to connect to a wall plug rather than hardwire which took some time. It does seem if you lose the remote there is no way to turn it on or off so keep that thing on lock. It's cute though I love it
