Tested fine when I got them, now that I've been running them, continuing to get bad pixels.These are good quality lights, easy to control by arduino. Nice and bright as advertised, I'm running mine with a good quality classic radioshack power supply, its easily handling the 3 strands. They probably pull about 33-36 watts with the 3 strands i bought.My favorite code to run is a modified twinklefox on my arduino uno r3These pixels function great, but for holiday lights they come up just short. The issue is the connector is. It waterproof. Since these would mostly be used outside, it’s sort of disappointing to have to come up with my own solution. I have some hot glue that has worked well in the past and is holding strong for now on these. They look good and play well with my controller, but the lack of waterproof plug limits their use. I would recommend looking for a waterproof plug if you plan on using these outside.I have many WS2811 lights from several different vendors. This GMJYC DC 12V 50pcs WS2811 was a simple test using my F16v3 and a passthrough set of lights to get the adapters right. The lights looked vibrant and changed colors similar to my other sets. Further inspection showed the wires clearly labeled at the connection point to the pixel chip. The only downside was I have a few lights where it looked like the epoxy did not cure evenly in the sleeve and that several are missing a lot. The chips and wires are not exposed but also not as protected as I would like.
